Getting your rabbit spayed or neutered can make them a much more enjoyable pet. It can fix many agressive behaviors, males who spray pee, etc.
We reccommend you wait until your rabbit is an adult before considering spaying or neutering him or her. Consult your vet on when the best time is to neuter/spay your specific rabbit. Make sure that your vet is experienced and comfortable performing the procedure. Remember that there are dangers associated with spaying or neutering, and in rare cases rabbits may not make it through the surgery.
Rabbits can be happy in pairs or more! Rabbits can bond to eachother and it is the most precious sight. However, it can be dangerous! Not all rabbits will get along. They can (and will!!) fight with eachother. Anyone looking to have multiple rabbits housed together should be prepared to keep a close eye on them and separate them if needed. In many cases it is best to just keep them in separate cages next to eachother.
Here are some tips for keeping multiple rabbits together:
-Introduce them slowly and carefully
-Have them both spayed or neutered
-Get opposite sexes (just make sure they're spayed or neutered!)
-Have a spansive cage
-Be prepared to separate them and don't push it
